Swelling, scars, incision lines are natural after the breast reduction surgery. However, swelling and scars will fade over time. Daily apply ointment on the wounds to aid faster healing. Use icing and cold packs to reduce the swelling and inflammation. For long lasting results, the patient should maintain weight and follow a healthy lifestyle. The smoother, tighter contours are visible immediately after the procedure. A patient should avoid physical activities subjected to excessive force, swelling, or pain during the time of healing.
